Oregon school shooting at Reynolds High School was stopped in under 60 seconds by Armed School Resource Officers

The recent school shooting at Reynolds High School, where a 15-year-old went into the school with a rifle and pistol, was ended after the shooter shot one student to death, 14-year-old Emilio Hoffman.

It is just coming to light as to why it ended so quickly. At the time of the shooting, school resource Officers Nick Thompson and Kyle Harris were at the school while the shooting was taking place. The resource Officers heard the first shot and went toward the noise within seconds.

“As soon as this happened, they were there in less than a minute,” Staton said. “Had they not been there, it could have been a lot worse.”

“I believe their quick response saved many of our students’ lives,” Anderson said. “For that, our community and I thank you.”

The shooter not only had a rifle and pistol, he also had on him nine loaded magazines that would have surely killed other innocent life if the resource Officers were not there to stop him.

I beg you, if you are anti-gun or on the fence, please realize that these shooters do not want a fight. They attack the innocent in gun free zones and unless we have people like these two brave resource Officers on site, the shooters have free reign until police get there to return fire.
